Liv Morgan has worked hard to establish herself as one of the mainstays of the women’s division on Monday Night RAW. Morgan gained a lot of fan support in the past few months, which she never thought was possible in the past. It seems she opened up about her recent tribute.

For the past few weeks, Becky Lynch and Liv Morgan have been feuding with each other, as it escalated every single week. Morgan challenged Becky Lynch for the RAW Women’s Championship earlier this month on Monday Night RAW. It was also the main event of the show.

During the match, Liv Morgan put on the performance of a lifetime and it also included a tribute to Trish Stratus and Lita as she performed a suicide dive. In the end, Becky Lynch won the match via heel tactics.

While speaking with CBS Sports Shakiel Mahjouri, Liv Morgan talked about her RAW Women’s Championship match against Becky Lynch. Morgan stated that she felt her tribute to Trish Stratus and Lita during the match was meant to be.

“100 percent. That day was the 17th anniversary of the infamous Trish vs. Lita [match]. The first-ever women’s main event match for the Women’s championship. It felt so weird to me. It felt like it was meant to be. Everything felt so aligned. Becky has red hair. I have blonde hair. We have this match 17 years to the date and we were the main event, which we didn’t know until later in the day because we weren’t the main event and then we got switched to the main event. As soon as I realized that, I was like, ‘I’m doing a dive,”

Liv Morgan also recently attacked Becky Lynch during training session. Becky Lynch is set to defend her RAW WOmen’s Championship against Liv Morgan at WWE Day 1 on January 1st next year. We will have to wait and see how will end up winning this time.
