Tony Khan promised that fans would receive some big AEW World Title news during Holiday Bash. He did not disappoint. Following the first segment of the show, one which saw Kyle O’Reilly’s AEW debut, they made the big announcement.

Danielson will get another shot at the AEW World Title in two weeks. January 5th is the date. Hangman Page then came out to cut an in-ring interview with Tony Schiavone to hype the match. Then Bryan Danielson joined him to continue the build toward their highly-anticipated rematch.

Bryan then proposed that they have judges present during their January 5th match to make sure they avoid another draw.

January 5th will mark AEW Dynamite’s first night on TBS. They will give fans a great reason to tune in, for sure.
