WWE Unifying NXT Cruiserweight & North American Titles At New Year’s Evil

WWE’s Cruiserweight Title never received the respect that many believe it deserves. It will soon merge with the North American Title to form something new.

Roderick Strong is the current NXT Cruiserweight Champion and his match for New Year’s Evil will be a historic one. Strong will battle North American Champion Carmelo Hays in a title unification match.

We are uncertain what this new merged title will be called, or what they will even do. NXT 2.0 has included many changes across the brand Triple H created so far. This change seems like yet another big shift into a new era.
