Johnny Gargano Drops Big Tease About Facing Kenny Omega

Johnny Gargano has been touted as the face of NXT by many fans due to his excellent feuds with the likes of Tommaso Ciampa and Adam Cole. He has numerous nicknames such as Johnny Wrestling, Johnny TakeOver and more and they are all for good reason. It seems he teased a dream match recently.

During last week’s episode of NXT 2.0, Gargano made it clear that his status in NXT is up in the air. However, many fans realized that it was truly the end of the line for Johnny Gargano. That turned out to be true as he is now officially free agent.

While speaking on Twitch, Johnny Gargano stated that Kenny Omega is definitely one of the best wrestlers in the world. He also teased a dream match with Omega.

“I think Kenny Omega is one of, if not the, best wrestler in the world currently. I know that it is a legitimate dream match for a lot of people, me and Kenny, and it is definitely a dream match for me too. Who knows what can happen one day.”

Johnny Gargano also recently stated that he will work wherever fans call for him to work. We will have to wait and see what is next in store for Johnny Gargano as his time in WWE is done.
