Brandi Rhodes Fires Back At Fan Who Thinks She Can’t Wrestle

Brandi Rhodes is the wife of AEW EVP Cody Rhodes and in the early stages of the company, she was one of the mainstays of the women’s division. Eventually, she took a more reserved role. It seems she fired back at a fan who thinks she can’t wrestle.

She is also the Chief Brand Officer of AEW and lately has been competing in matches since making her return to AEW television recently. On last week’s episode of AEW Dark, Rhodes beat Angelica Risk by submission in her first match in over a year. An F4WOnline review of her match with Angelica Risk said the match “belonged on Dark”, and it was largely criticised online for its apparent poor in-ring quality.

During the Dec. 3 tapings at Universal Studios, Brandi faced Robyn Renegade in a singles match. A fan recently commented on one of Brandi Rhodes’ tweets, where a fan made it clear she didn’t think Rhodes can wrestle.

Brandi Rhodes replied to the fan by flaunting her bank account and making it clear she gets paid because she is able to wrestle, despite what others think.

Well Melinda, my bank account sure thinks I am. So I’m gonna take the cash over your tweet… no hard feelings?

Her husband Cody Rhodes continues to be booed by fans as he is subtly teasing a heel turn. On the other hand, Brandi Rhodes also gets booed a lot, so we wonder if both of them will simply become heel together.
