AEW superstar and pro-wrestling veteran Chris Jericho has been hospitalized. Many of the details regarding the nature of Jericho’s hospitalization remain vague, but his absence has rendered his band incapable of performing in the concert.

Jericho’s band Fozzy was all geared up to perform in Swansea, Wales when his sudden hospitalization was reported. However, the venue has revealed that the nature of hospitalization is not critical. They deemed the issue to be unrelated to COVID and treatable.

The venue, Sin City Swansea, updated their Instagram page with the announcement that the band won’t be making the appearance on their upcoming concert following Jericho’s hospitalization.

Tonight we were devastated to learn that Fozzy will have to cancel their planned date with us in Swansea tomorrow.

The post also revealed comments from Jericho’s bandmates. While they expressed regret for the inconvenience to fans, they promised updates on their other upcoming shows, which means Jericho might be back on track in a couple of days.

Chris was checked into Hospital by doctors, with a non Covid related, treatable health issue. Regrettably the show on Friday in Swansea is cancelled and all tickets will be refunded. Will have updates on Saturdays show in Nottingham and Sunday’s show in London as soon as possible.

Fozzy is Chris Jericho’s very own heavy metal band. Starting in 1999, the band has released 7 studio albums so far. Jericho’s entrance theme in NJPW and AEW “Judas” has been taken from the band’s album with the same name. We hope Le Champion a speedy recovery.
