Drew McIntyre worked up the ranks after his return to WWE back in 2017 and it eventually led to winning the WWE Champion twice. He also has good relationship with Vince McMahon. On top of that, McIntyre also has a hilarious reason for all the stories he tells.

Drew McIntyre’s first run in WWE saw him win the Intercontinental Championship and eventually become a member of 3MB. Many fans also remember his previous theme song called ‘Broken Dreams.’

McIntyre was said to be working hard to get his ‘Broken Dreams’ theme song back in WWE. It seems he has a very interesting desire when it comes to the return of his ‘Broken Dreams’ theme.

While speaking to Kenny McIntosh of Inside the Ropes, Drew McIntyre talked about bringing back his old theme song, adding that he expects it to happen during a huge event.

Drew McIntyre added that he wants fans to sing his ‘Broken Dreams’ theme song the same way fans sing along to Chris Jericho’s ‘Judas’ theme song.

“Yeah – I say it all the time in every interview I get asked, which is almost every interview, eventually it’s going to happen. I imagine it’s going to be in a bigger event, it might be as part of a package – we did that in NXT, prior to my match with Bobby Roode when I won the NXT title, we used a part of it and people were absolutely buzzing.

The thing I always say is, everybody please learn the words because if I somehow convince management ‘we gotta use this, because the fans love it, they’re all waiting for it, they’ve been asking me for it for years, they know all the words’, and I walk out there and nobody knows the words and they don’t sing it like Jericho’s song, I’ll be devastated, and I’m going to have to go back with my tail between my legs going ‘I was wrong’.”

With Jeff Hardy bringing back his popular ‘No More Words’ theme and Edge doing the same with his old Brood theme, we will have to wait and see when Drew McIntyre will get his old theme song back.

h/t to Inside the Ropes for the quotes.
