Cody Rhodes is the EVP of AEW and has remained a babyface in the company since the very beginning. Rhodes is one of the top stars in the company, as he has competed in several memorable matches and praise-worthy segments over the years. Despite all this, Rhodes continues to get polarizing reactions no matter what he does.

For the past few months, Cody Rhodes has been on the receiving end of a lot of boos from fans. Due to this, many have expressed their desire to have Cody Rhodes turn heel.

As seen on this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, Cody Rhodes squared off against Andrade El Idolo in an Atlanta Street Fight. In the final moments of the match, Cody Rhodes superplexed Andrade onto a flaming table.

WWE Hall Of Famer Mick Foley took to Twitter and reacted to Cody Rhodes’ flaming table spot. Foley stated that he hopes Cody Rhodes is okay.

“I hope @CodyRhodes is ok. That’s probably going to hurt for a while.”

Mick Foley is a hardcore legend who is more than aware of flaming table spots, especially at WrestleMania 22 against Edge. We will have to wait and see if fans will start liking Cody Rhodes after the match.
