WWE’s NXT brand went through a lot of changes in the last few months and their roster could be in for a big alteration as well.

Fightful Select reports that Kyle O’Reilly was one of the top NXT Superstars who passed on a new deal in 2019. This resulted in his deal winding down and it will expire before the end of the year.

It was further noted that his contract expiring so soon was a “surprise” for O’Reilly. It was also said that the company has approached O’Reilly about a new deal and they want to keep him around, but it wasn’t noted whether that contract was signed.

We’re told WWE has interest in re-signing Kyle O’Reilly and have approached him about possibly re-signing with the company.

We will have to see what happens in this situation. Johnny Gargano’s deal with NXT is also running up in a few weeks. The company actually inked a one-week extension with Johnny Wrestling so he could work the WarGames event this Sunday.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
