The Guinness Book of World Records has been listing the achievements “both of human achievements and the extremes of the natural world,” since 1955 according to Wikipedia. It would seem that two very recent achievements were celebrated by none other than Randy Orton and Natalya Neidhart of the WWE, and they were thus recognized by Guinness themselves on social media it would seem.

Both Natalya and Randy Orton celebrated these milestone achievements at WWE’s Survivor Series earlier this month. Randy Orton wrestled his 177th match on a WWE PPV, and has surpassed Kane in that accomplishment. Natalya for her part, became the single female wrestler with more PPV matches in the history of the company.

“Congratulations to @RandyOrton and @NatbyNature who both set records at Survivor Series!”

Orton has been wrestling since 2002 and is a product of the OVW developmental territory. He was in an elite class which included John Cena, Brock Lesnar, Batista and Shelton Benjamin. To say he has come far would be an understatement. A prolific wrestler, he is set to also beat Kane’s record for most matches wrestled on Raw the next time Orton wrestles on said program, which is obviously quite the feat.

A part of the Hart family which includes the great Bret Hart, the late Owen Hart, the British Bulldog and Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart (her father), Natalya is of course pro wrestling royalty and one of the last students to have ever trained in the legendary Hart Dungeon up in Calgary, Alberta Canada.
