Xavier Woods is a member of The New Day and has had a tremendous career in WWE so far. Woods has won tag team gold on numerous occasions and remains mainstay of any brand he is on. Now it seems Xavier Woods opened up about WWE’s latest batch of releases.

Fans who follow the YouTube channel UpUpDownDown are already aware of just how talented Xavier Woods is in a lot of fields. His work as one of the hosts for the G4 video game channel has also proven successful for him.

The King Of The Ring winner came to know about WWE’s latest slew of releases while he was live on G4 last week. Woods looked visibly upset as he left the set in order to compose himself.

While speaking to Ariel Helwani, Xavier Woods was asked about the clip of him going around. Woods admitted that it sucked to get news of the latest WWE releases.

“Yeah, it sucks man. It sucks because those people are my friends, and some of those guys weren’t even given the chance to have a match on TV, you know? So, it always sucks hearing that news and I saw that floating around too, someone sent it to me and I legit, I just needed to take a second, because I knew like we still had an hour left of the live stream, and that is my job, I had to do my job, but I also had to check on my friends and make sure people are OK. I’m not trying to sound like ‘oh, me, me, me’ like no like, obviously it happens, it’s a job it happens everywhere, but that doesn’t make it suck any less when you aren’t working with your friends anymore.”

Xavier Woods will always care about his friends who lost their jobs and from the looks of it, WWE is unlikely to stop releasing Superstars anytime soon.
