Kurt Angle Says Kenny Omega & AJ Styles Are A Step Above Everybody

Kenny Omega’s in-ring skills have brought him worldwide fame and acclaim as he is touted as the best bout machine for good reason. His AEW World title reign had been excellent for many fans as he has competed in several high profile matches. It seems Kurt Angle has a high opinion about Kenny Omega.

Kenny Omega made a name for himself with his incredible matches with top pro wrestlers such as Kazuchika Okada and Hiroshi Tanahashi in NJPW. Omega is regarded as one of the all time-greats by many fans and it is not difficult to understand why.

On the other hand, AJ Styles is considered as one of the best pro wrestlers by both fans and wrestlers alike. Styles continues to work at a high level despite growing older and continues to amaze fans.

While speaking on Talk Is Jericho, Kurt Angle talked about Kenny Omega’s skills as a pro wrestler. Angle stated that Omega reminds him of AJ Styles and added that both Omega and Styles are a step above everyone else in pro wrestling.

“Another wrestler that reminds me of AJ is Kenny Omega. Very much so. These guys are a step above everybody. For whatever reason. I don’t know what it is, but they have the it factor. These guys put on tremendous matches.

”I’m not buying all the six and seven star matches by Dave Meltzer, but the only person that gets like six, seven, eight, nine stars is Kenny Omega, and he deserves it. It’s really incredible how good he really is.”

Kenny Omega is currently taking time off in order to undergo multiple surgeries and heal from all the injuries he suffered over the years. We will have to wait and see when Kenny Omega will make his triumphant return to AEW television.
