The landscape of pro wrestling underwent a change after AEW and Impact Wrestling started their working relationship. NJPW ended up joining the fold as well, which has led to some incredible matches over the past year. It seems Jeff Jarrett isn’t sure what the end goal of AEW and Impact Wrestling’s partnership was.

The partnership between AEW and Impact Wrestling had truly opened the door for a variety of dream matches. However, fans were divided as to just how much each company has benefitted from the partnership.

While speaking on The Wrestling Inc. Daily, Jeff Jarrett talked about AEW’s partnership with Impact Wrestling and whether it had any long-lasting effects or not. In the end, Jarrett simply wasn’t sure what the end goal of the partnership was.

“It’s easy to armchair quarterback so many things, I have no idea, I wasn’t in the room, didn’t really know what they wanted out of it on either side. What were their goals, were their goals aligned? Was it a Don Callis and Kenny Omega relationship first? I’m not saying the only first. What was the end goal? I have no idea what their goals were, but it goes without saying I am a huge proponent.”
