The Kyle Rittenhouse trial is certainly one of the most talked-about and high-profile trials right now. Despite all of his offences, he still has his supporters for some reason. It seems Mick Foley’s recent comments regarding the Rittenhouse verdict has caused quite a stir on social media.

For those who don’t know, Rittenhouse shot three men during demonstrations in Kenosha, Wisconsin, in August 2020. This resulted in two deaths and one of them was injured. According to the New York Times, the teenager faces six counts, including charges of first-degree intentional homicide.

Kyle Rittenhouse was found not guilty of all counts, and now the 18-year-old will walk free. Many celebrities have already expressed their disdain for the not guilty verdict. Mick Foley recently expressed deep concern over the not guilty verdict as well.

As is the case with social media, there was a clear divide in opinions when it came to what Mick Foley said about the Rittenhouse verdict. While some agreed with Foley’s concern, others simply did not.

There were several protests all over the United States after the not guilty verdict was given as well. In the end, such a decision will certainly have ramifications somewhere down the line and that is unlikely to change anytime soon.
