Jim Ross is a veteran in the pro wrestling world, as he made a name for himself as a commentator in WWE, delivering some of the most iconic moments in the history of pro wrestling. Jim Ross also has a long history of health issues, including his Bell’s Palsy. It seems he will still carry on with his job despite getting treatment.

Many people have even called for Jim Ross’ death, which is simply uncalled for. The WWE Hall Of Famer previously revealed that he was going to get tested for skin cancer. Jim Ross then confirmed that he did, in fact, have skin cancer.

It was also said that Jim Ross might have to step down from the commentary booth due to skin cancer. While speaking on his Grilling JR Podcast, Jim Ross gave fans an updated regarding his skin cancer treatment.

Good ol’ JR revealed that he has an appointment coming Monday but will be ready to work this Wednesday in Chicago for AEW’s Thanksgiving edition of Dynamite.

”Next week’s going to be a touch and go week for me, on Monday morning I’m supposed to get two cancer spots cut out of my back. They say it’s only a few stitches but I’ve got to get ready to get on an airplane and they say it’s going to be bandaged. I can’t scratch them, I can’t touch them. Then after that on Monday, I have to go to my oncologist and they make me a boot. And the boot is what you slip on so the radiation machine has a target. I don’t know if it attaches or whatever, but it’s there to not give you any more radiation than you need and only on the spot that isn’t infected. I plan on going to Chicago, and on Wednesday, we’re going to kick ass.”

We sincerely hope Jim Ross will be okay as he continues to get treatment for his skin cancer. We also commend Ross on continuing to work despite the diagnosis, as it truly shows how much he loves his work.
