Hit Row was released from their WWE contracts this week and that was a big surprise. The members of Hit Row also didn’t see it coming at all, because they were under the impression that their time in WWE was only just starting.

While speaking to Busted Open Radio, Top Dolla revealed that WWE had Hit Row at their headquarters in Stamford. They had action figures on the way and Hit Row was going to be in the new WWE 2K22 video game. Now that isn’t happening at all.

“We just went to [WWE] HQ, met everybody, and talked to everybody. Talked about how we’re going to get action figures and talked about how we were going to be big deal, and seeing the [WWE 2K22] video game. All these different things and everything got pulled out from underneath us.”

The Hit Row action figures could still come out, because it takes a long time to get that kind of thing in process. If it is far enough along then Mattel might just drop those figures anyway.

The video game is also an interesting situation, because elements of the Hit Row faction could still creep into the Create A Wrestler mode if they have already completed them.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
