Ric Flair Says Kenny Omega & Randy Orton Are In A Class Of Their Own

Kenny Omega’s in-ring skills need no introductions as he is touted as the best bout machine for good reason. His AEW World title reign has been excellent for many fans as he has competed in several high profile matches. It seems Ric Flair has a high opinion of Kenny Omega as well.

Kenny Omega made a name for himself with his incredible matches with top pro wrestlers such as Kazuchika Okada and Hiroshi Tanahashi in NJPW. Omega is regarded as one of the all time-greats by many fans and it is not difficult to understand why.

At AEW Full Gear, Kenny Omega defended his AEW World Championship against Adam Page in the main event. After all was said and done, Adam Page defeated Kenny Omega to become the new AEW World Champion.

While speaking on the Woooo Nation Uncensored podcast, Ric Flair talked about Kenny Omega, Randy Orton and AJ Styles’ as pro wrestlers. He stated that they are in a class of their own.

“I think the fact that he’s (Kenny Omega) wrestled everybody, every style, around the world, that’s what it takes to really become a top guy in this business. You have to have had different opponents with different styles. I put him and AJ Styles and Randy Orton, and there’s a lot of good ones, but I put those three pretty much in a class of their own.”

Unfortunately for Kenny Omega, he will need multiple surgeries to recover from his injuries during his hiatus from AEW television. We will have to wait and see when Omega will be back in the pro wrestling ring.
