John Morrison was brought back to WWE after a hiatus where he traveled the world and various promotions with a different last name in each company. Then he returned to have a nice run with The Miz. That partnership ended and Morrison never found anything else. Now his time is done.

Sean Sapp reports that John Morrison was released from his WWE contract today. November 18th is indeed a sad day for moisture, because the Drip Stick is no more.

John Morrison’s wife Franky Monet was released in the last crop of cuts. Now Morrison has joined his wife, but his non-compete clause will be much longer.

Morrison will likely have no trouble finding another place to wrestle. It seems as if WWE is gifting Tony Khan this one, but we’ll have to see how the cards are dealt in this situation.

We’re sure that WWE used “budget cuts” for the reason for this latest crop of releases. Hit Row was also cut along with others.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
