Drew McIntyre’s Claymore Kick has taken down plenty of opponents and won him a lot of championships in WWE. Now he has a new variation of the move and it is his favorite version at this point.

Fightful Select recently sat down for a chat with the Scottish Warrior. He spoke about his new favorite way to sell the Claymore, one where he kicks Ricochet’s head clean off. He had to admit that there was some doubt at first, but he loves the move now.

We specifically asked Drew McIntyre several things that haven’t been covered in other interviews as he does many, and asked about the Ricochet Claymore. McIntyre said that while it’s his favorite one now, it wasn’t immediately. He wasn’t sure how well he actually connected with the move, but knew that Ricochet would make it as easy as possible for him. However, once the replay aired in the arena, he knew that everything ended up working out well.

Drew McIntyre’s time in WWE has plenty of matches left. We will likely see him land that devastating kick many more times. Only time will tell how many titles he wins with that move, but he is obviously keeping his head up and his foot is always ready to strike.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
