WWE sent down even more releases, a real shock to everyone in the company who were under the assumption that those cuts were over for 2021. That was not the case and eight more Superstars lost their jobs tonight.

As Sean Sapp originally reported, John Morrison, Top Dolla, Ashante Thee Adonis, Isaiah “Swerve” Scott, Tegan Nox, Drake Maverick, Shane Thorne, and Jaxson Ryker were all released from their WWE contract today.

Budget cuts was given for the reason for these releases. This comes at a time when WWE is scoring record profits in their quarterly earnings reports. Top Dolla already used #BudgetCuts in his reaction to his own release.

This move blindsided many within the company. It is also expected to become a trend. Sadly, even more WWE Superstars might get cut from the company in time.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
