WWE has a rule where they don’t want to hire any NXT Superstars in their 30s. This might have been a rule of thumb that some were holding to prior to WWE’s edict.

Lady Frost recently signed a deal with Impact Wrestling, but she received a WWE tryout in 2018. She also had a match on television against Asuka. According to Fightful Select, Lady Frost thought that everything went well for her in regards to her tryout. Then she was told that she was too old to get an offer from the company.

When she performed at the tryout she believed things went smoothly and was optimistic about possibly getting an offer, but was later told by a WWE official that she was “too old” to get an offer, as she was already in her 30s.

It was also confirmed that NWA offered Lady Frost a contract over the summer. She worked a few dates for the company, including NWA Empowerrr. Lady Frost turned down an NWA contract, and it did not affect her position on the Empowerrr card at all.
