AEW’s inception came about at Double Or Nothing 2019 and since then, the company has done all it could to provide a product that true lovers of pro wrestling would enjoy. For the most part, they have succeeded, but there is still lot of room for improvement. It seems Tony Khan decided to fire back at a fan who accused him of bribing journalists.

AEW has all the momentum in the world right now thanks to the debuts of CM Punk, Bryan Danielson and Adam Cole to their roster, ensuring that the roster is one of the most stacked in all of pro wrestling.

A fan recently took to Twitter and accused Tony Khan of bribing journalists to write about AEW as proper competition to WWE and glorifying them on their websites. This fan said: “What a f*cking embarrassing human being paying journalists to write articles about aew being a competitor to WWE, is it a coincidence in the last few weeks, the Washington post, Variety, Business Insider, Forbes and many more mainstream websites all have the same headlines? Lol.”

Tony Khan decided to fire back at the fan and made it clear that AEW’s success has been all due to its own merit.

You have totally busted me Andrew09123, clearly I must have paid off Washington Post, Variety, Business Insider, + Forbes to talk about how @AEW is a great wrestling company bringing competition to the wrestling business. Or maybe they all saw what’s happening & saw a good story?

There is no doubt AEW will keep on striving to better their product so that fans remain happy for as long as possible. With Tony Khan at the helm, the company is going through a lot of changes over the past few months. We will have to see just how the company will change in the coming years.
