Keith Lee was absent from WWE television for quite a few months. Due to this many fans started to worry about Keith Lee’s status in the company. Lee eventually returned and he previously said that he Vince McMahon’s approach to his character. Now it seems Lee apparently had attitude issues in the company.

Many fans certainly didn’t like the numerous changes Keith Lee had to go through after his return. This included changes to his entrance, look and also his name. This included Lee being changed to Bearcat Lee, a name most fans simply want nothing to do with.

Unfortunately, Keith Lee was among several WWE Superstars released from their contracts recently. Immediately after his release, Keith Lee made it clear that the Bearcat gimmick was not his idea at all.

While speaking on PWTorch’s VIP Ad-free audio show, Wade Keller talked about how Keith lee was perceived backstage. It was said that Keith Lee had attitude issues and seemingly had issues doing a job as well.

“Keith Lee, I have chronicled for months and months and months and months and months, was somebody that even people that were rooting for him behind the scenes, became frustrated with him. He just had, in general, attitude issues. Or, as one wrestler told me tonight, “perceived attitude issues,” edging a little bit, others have said outright… attitude problems. He just was frustrated. I’ve heard different things about him in terms of his mood being altered way more than it should in the modern era, about being asked to do a job.”

Jim Cornette also previously stated that Keith Lee could be making his way to AEW after the way he is being treated in WWE. Now that he is released from WWE, we wonder if Lee will make his way to AEW or not in the future.
