Kenny Omega Match Added To AEW Dynamite Tonight

AEW has announced that World Champion Kenny Omega will wrestle on tonight’s episode of Dynamite. The champ will take on Alan Angels of the Dark Order in a singles match. The two previously locked up in 2020.

The promotion shared the news via Twitter. Tony Khan booked the match ahead of Omega’s title defense against “Hangman” Adam Page at the Full Gear pay-per-view event.

“Ahead of @KennyOmegamanX’s PPV Title match vs Dark Order trusted friend Hangman Page, #AEW GM @TonyKhan has booked Omega vs. @Alan_V_Angels TONIGHT on #AEWDynamite! Angels took Kenny to the limit in his breakout match April 2020; can Alan break through and beat the champ tonight?”

Omega won’t be the only champion appearing on tonight’s Dynamite. On last night’s Dark, FTR announced an open challenge for their AAA Tag Team titles. Dynamite airs nationwide live from the Cable Dahmer Arena in Independence, Missouri. The show starts at 8PM eastern, 5PM pacific time. Check out the full card below.
