AEW World Champion Kenny Omega’s in-ring skills need no introductions as he is touted as the best bout machine for good reason. His AEW World title reign has been excellent for many fans as he has competed in several high profile matches. It seems he also shut down all of his critics after his match against Bryan Danielson.

Kenny Omega made a name for himself with his incredible matches with top pro wrestlers such as Kazuchika Okada and Hiroshi Tanahashi in NJPW. Omega is regarded as one of the all time-greats by many fans and it is not difficult to understand why.

On last month’s episode of AEW Dynamite Grand Slam, Bryan Danielson and Kenny Omega competed in an instant classic match. Even Jim Cornette loved the match from start to finish. The match would end in a draw, which many fans did not find any issues with.

Emi Sakura took to Twitter and uploaded a clip where Kenny Omega spoke to Lulu and admitted that his match against Bryan Danielson was hard on him. Omega then stated that the match shut down all of his haters as well, making it clear he can still compete at the highest level.

“It was pretty difficult. I haven’t had a match like that in a long time. Some people said I couldn’t do it anymore, that I’m not the cleaner, I’m not ‘Kenny Omega’ – shut up. Of course I’m Kenny Omega! I am PWI number one for a reason.”

Kenny Omega is set to square off against Adam Page at AEW Full Gear on November 13. With almost two years worth of long-term storytelling, it remains to be seen if Adam Page will finally be able to defeat Kenny Omega and win the AEW World Championship.
