Shotzi Blackheart was certainly one of the mainstays of NXT’s women’s division during her time there. Her character work and in-ring prowess made her an instant hit with fans. Now it seems Blackheart decided to explain her recent actions.

During this week’s episode of Friday Night Smackdown, Shotzi Blackheart answered SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair’s challenge. This was after Flair refused to give Sasha Banks a title shot.

This led to Blackheart facing off against Charlotte Flair, which Flair won. Afterwards, Shotzi Blackheart turned heel and attacked Sasha Banks, blaming her for the loss. She laid out Banks and shocked fans with her heel turn as well.

While speaking on Talking Smack, Shotzi Blackheart explained her actions as well. Blackheart stated that she was fed up with being happy and easy-going. She added that Sasha Banks’ interference in the match was her breaking point.

“I am fed up. Plain and simple. I’m fed up. I am done being the happy, easy-going Shotzi. I have been screwed over on title opportunity over title opportunity. My tag partner left me. I came here just wanting to have fun and kick ass. Well, you know what? I haven’t had fun in a really long time. So there’s just one thing left to do. Sasha was my breaking point and now she’s my target. I am not letting anyone walk over me anymore. I am running over everyone in my way.”

It remains to be seen how Shotzi Blackheart will be booked on Friday Night Smackdown now that she is finally a heel. It is likely she will be displaying a new vicious side of her and Sasha Banks seems to be her first target.
