Matt Riddle Not Happy About Botched Spot During NXT Halloween Havoc

Ever since Matt Riddle signed with WWE, he has been one of the mainstays of WWE television, be it in NXT or the main roster. His in-ring skills are one of the best in the company and he already has good fan following. Despite that, he isn’t the easiest person to understand.

Matt Riddle’s character has certainly gotten over with fans thanks to his comedic timing and generally cool attitude while still being that of a stoner character. Vince McMahon wasn’t immediately on board with his character either.

He is also never afraid to speak his mind when the time comes for it. It seems Matt Riddle did just that recently. At NXT Halloween Havoc, MSK defended their tag team titles against Imperium in a Lumberjack match.

While many fans loved the match, it did feature a horrible botch. In the aforementioned botch, Barthel and Carter dropped onto the lumberjacks, but they failed to catch Barthel and Carter. Due to this they fell on the ground very hard.

Matt Riddle commented on the horrific botch as he made it clear he was furious over it. Riddle stated that everyone on the floor should be beaten with sticks for their blunder.

“Everyone on the floor friends or not should be beaten with sticks.”

Thankfully, no one was injured due to that botched spot. Matt Riddle is one half of the RAW Tag Team Champions himself, so he is always critical of tag team matches. It remains to be seen what is next for Matt Riddle and Randy Orton’s team.
