During this year’s edition of the WWE Draft, Hit Row was called up to the WWE main roster, which certainly surprised many fans. The faction is currently part of Friday Night Smackdown and finally made their debut recently.

WWE Hall Of Famer Edge previously gave massive props to Hit Row, as he stated that they are exactly what pro wrestling needs in 2021. Fans were wondering when they would debut and received their answer this week.

Hit Row made their debut on this week’s episode of Friday Night Smackdown, as Isaiah ‘Swerve’ Scott and Top Dolla teamed up and lay waste to two local talents with ease. It seems this was not the original plan for their debut.

According to Fightful’s Sean Sapp, he took to Twitter and revealed that WWE originally planned on having Jinder Mahal and Shanky square off against Hit Row instead of local talents.

Jinder & Shanky were listed internally as Hit Row’s opponents, which obviously didn’t end up being the case. We’ll work to find out why it was changed. Seems like this went better

We will have to wait and see how Hit Row will fare on Friday Night Smackdown as some fans are worried they might have been called up to the main roster far too early.
