WWE recently posted a new job listing on their LinkedIn account. The company is searching for a new writer for NXT 2.0. This comes after weeks of dwindling viewership ratings.

Applicants will need some experience writing for television, film, or social media. Reality television and live TV production are considered a bonus. The full listing is available online. You can check out the description below.

“The NXT Creative Team is searching for a new Writer to join us in Orlando, FL!

NXT develops and produces live weekly original episodic programming 52 weeks a year. At NXT, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with the next generation of WWE Superstars who keep their fingers on the pulse of pop culture and their foot on the gas!

Built to appeal to a younger audience, NXT follows compelling storylines that defy expectations at every turn while playing out in front of the most passionate fans in sports entertainment. The creative team’s goal is to develop the most captivating stories and larger-than-life characters portrayed by the world’s most charismatic and diverse WWE Superstars.”

WWE’s rebooted NXT 2.0 has failed to bring in the ratings or demographics the company would like. It appears the company is now trying to inject some new life and creative ideas to the show.

In addition to their search for a new NXT 2.0 writer, WWE presents Crown Jewel today. The show airs at noon eastern on Peacock in the U.S. and WWE Network elsewhere.
