Kevin Owens responded to Jeff Hardy’s comments about having a potential match with him, saying “it would be an absolute blast to get in there with Jeff.” Owens also realizes that a match between the two of them, who are both known to put ungodly punishment on their bodies, would be quite a brutal affair.

During an appearance on the “Out of Character” podcast this week, Hardy talked about various things such as his thoughts on being drafted to SmackDown and some of his famous ladder matches.

The “Charismatic Enigma” also spoke about wrestlers he would want to get in the ring with in future. Hardy namedropped current WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns and former Universal Champion Kevin Owes as the two guys he would like to work with in the future. Owens responded to this video and he seemed very open to facing Hardy.

“Another, I think, I think Kevin Owens… he’s drafted to RAW, but that’s another guy that I’ve never worked with. I always forget to mention him but I think we could have some really interesting matches.”

Owens responded by saying he too wanted to get in the ring with Hardy but the two ended up being drafted to different rosters. “That’s a huge compliment,” he said, adding that a match between the two “wouldn’t end well for either of us.” Of course, he certainly meant every word of that.

We’ll have to see if WWE books this match, but it might be a violent and risky outing in the squared circle.

How would you book this potential feud? Sound off in the comments!
