Kayla Braxton is proving yet again that she definitely has the wit for being a top journalist and analyst in the world of professional wrestling. Judging by a recent tweet she made in regards to pop singer, Kanye West’s recent name change, she’s proving that it’s more than just wit. It’s downright hilarious.

According to a report at The Guardian, it’s definitely true that Kanye West has officially changed his name, following in the footsteps of Prince, the late, great musician, and even P Diddy, who underwent quite a few name changes over the years.

According to the report, West will now be known simply as ‘Ye,’ interestingly enough. The change in name was actually petitioned for in court, and is official according to reports. Speaking on the change, West stated:

“I believe ‘ye’ is the most commonly used word in the Bible, and in the Bible it means you. So I’m you, I’m us, it’s us…went from Kanye, which means the only one, to just Ye – just being a reflection of our good, our bad, our confused, everything.”

Although there are those that will refuse to call the man by his new-chosen name (the singer seems to rub many the wrong way), it would seem that WWE’s very own outspoken broadcaster, Kayla Braxton, WWE’s resident Mean Gene, weighed in on the name change, she hilariously tweeted:

“If I was the man formally known as Kanye West, I would start every conversation with “Hear Ye, Hear Ye.”

The tweet got the attention of WWE’s Alexa Bliss, she responded. Obviously, Bliss loved this joke..

“I laughed way too hard at this.”

The judge who presided over the name change, Michelle Williams Court, made a statement as well. he said:

“There being no objections, the petition for change of name is granted.”

Laughing is what many will undoubtedly do by the time this news makes the rounds, despite how serious West seems to be about all of this. We’ll have to see what Ye does next and whether Miss Braxton has any comments on his next move.
