AEW presented a special live episode of Rampage this week, but next Friday’s show will be pretaped. It will air on October 22nd, 2021. The company prepared a handful of matches for the Miami crowd after AEW Saturday Night Dynamite was over. This is your official spoiler warning.

They announced two matches so far, but there will be more action. The company revealed during AEW Dynamite that the AEW World Title Eliminator Tournament will begin this week on AEW Rampage. They did not announce who will be competing on the show.

Opening:

The Acclaimed came out and Max Caster cut a rap about beating NXT in the ratings. It was an epic burn on NXT. Not sure if that’ll make air on TNT.

Will Hobbs vs Orange Cassidy – World Title Eliminator Tournament

Matt Hardy was in the crowd watching this match. Of course, Hardy and Cassidy are still involved in a feud. In the end, Orange Cassidy won the match and advanced to the next round.

Tony Schiavone interviewed Penta in the ring. They didn’t get very far at all before FTR come out to attack him. Then PAC runs in for the save to even the odds.

Britt Baker vs Anna Jay

This match is on next and Baker got a great reaction. People also love Anna Jay, so the crowd, albeit many people have left already, is a bit split on this match. This match received positive reviews from fans in attendance. In the end, Britt Baker defeated Anna Jay. Tay Conti ran in for the save after the match.

PAC and Andrade El Idolo 

These two had their pay-per-view match moved to Rampage. They got another chance to battle during this week’s Rampage. It was time for the main event and Andrade vs Pac lived up to the hype in Miami. Pac won the match and then the lights went out. Suddenly, Malakai Black appeared in the ring and took out PAC. Then Cody Rhodes ran in for the save.
