Tony Khan Wants Fans To Know AEW Can Put On A Better Wrestling Show Than WWE

After debuting over two years ago, AEW has certainly gone through a lot of developments and for many, it has become its own brand of pro wrestling and not merely just an alternative to WWE.

Many fans have praised AEW’s in-ring product and its focus on the professional wrestling aspect of the show. Even CM Punk recently stated that AEW doesn’t ignore wrestling lovers like WWE does.

Bryan Danielson also gave his two cents regarding AEW’s product and stated that the company is modernizing pro wrestling as we know it.

A fan took to Twitter and pointed out the fact that AEW President Tony Khan is getting hate for being up to the challenge of taking on WWE next week. Tony Khan replied to the tweet and state that he wants to show fans that AEW can deliver a better wrestling product than WWE.

“Dude, people online were absolutely furious over that in 98. Eric already had crazy online heat before that too. I’ll never take it that far; I’ve never claimed I could physically best Vince, I just think AEW can put on a better wrestling show than them & I want people to know it.”

We will have to wait and see whether AEW Rampage will be able to beat Friday Night Smackdown in ratings or not next week.
