AEW Dynamite made its debut in October 2019 and since then has worked hard to provide an alternate product to what fans see in WWE. For the most part, they have succeeded, but there is still lot of room for improvement.

AEW has all the momentum in the world right now thanks to the debuts of CM Punk, Bryan Danielson and Adam Cole to their roster, ensuring that the roster is one of the most stacked in all of pro wrestling.

Bryan Danielson recently stated that AEW is a company for true pro wrestling lovers as WWE simply doesn’t focus on the wrestling aspect of their product.

While speaking to Sport1, CM Punk talked about AEW’s approach to their fanbase and stated that AEW does not ignore wrestling lovers, unlike WWE.

“I believe that it is crucial to look at, the fans in the halls, and ask yourself, ‘What can we do to make these fans happy?’ These are the fans who will be doing word of mouth and drawing the attention of others to us. I don’t believe in chasing after casual viewers who just happen to tune in to us. I think we should focus on the real fans. Maybe I’m wrong, maybe it’s the worse business model, but I think people who love wrestling have been ignored for too long. We do not ignore them. We want these very people to come to us and then we grow because they bring their friends with them, their brothers, sisters, cousins, mothers, fathers, grandparents. “

It remains to be seen how AEW will continue to improve its product in the coming months as there are likely many more surprises in store for fans.
