Tony Khan is leading AEW into two years of Dynamite. Tonight’s show in Philly will also include a big announcement that was a long time in the making.

Khan is no stranger to making big announcements. His company seems to be on a roll in that regard as they continue building momentum and performing very well in the key demographic. Tonight’s show in Philly might be one to remember.

While speaking to PW Insider, Tony Khan put over Dynamite’s two-year anniversary show. He also teased a huge announcement that is on the way. This is something that apparently took some time to set up, but he didn’t give away any clues.

“So, there’s a lot of great wrestling and I’m going to have some fun announcements, and it’s going to be a really special show. And I can tell you right now, I have one huge announcement on the show.”

“I will go back to the announcement instead and tell you that it’s been something a long time coming. I’m very excited about it and proud of it and it’ll really add a lot to the company, I think.”

You never know what AEW will announce next. The free agent pool outside of AEW is also full of recently released WWE and NXT Superstars, all with ticking down non-compete clauses. Some of those non-compete clauses also ran out in recent memory. We’ll have to see what they announce tonight on Dynamite, but we will have complete coverage of the entire event right here at Ringside News.
