The 2021 WWE Draft included some surprises so far, and this year was a bit different behind the scenes as well.

Ringside News was told by a tenured member of the creative team that this year was the “tamest draft behind the scenes.” There was no real heated debates or arguments, because “most of the decisions were made without input.”

“No one had any really passionate arguments,” our source reiterated. A previous report stated that there was “table banging” at one point, but we could not confirm that took place.

Ringside News exclusively reported on October 1st that the 2021 WWE Draft was all set and the company’s network partners were given their new rosters. Those decisions were made behind closed doors, so things really didn’t escalate quickly in any regard in the writers’ room.
