Brodie Lee passed away on December 26th, 2020 and the pro wrestling world lost a great man. His passing was felt throughout the industry, but now his legacy will help others through the Jon Huber Foundation.

AEW revealed that they are starting the Jon Huber Foundation, dedicated to the memory of Brodie Lee. This Foundation will give support to people in creative fields who have not taken the next step into their passions due to family obligations. Amanda Huber has stated in the past how Brodie Lee almost gave up on his own career in the ring when their son was born.

A statement on the new Jon Huber Foundation reads as follows:

“The mission of the Jon Huber Legacy Foundation is to honor the in-ring and out-of-the-ring legacy of Jon Huber by supporting creative individuals ready for the next step in their careers, who have not taken that step due to family obligations. The foundation will provide a cohort of selected fellows with mentorship, connections, practical skills, and financial support to take the next step in their careers.”

This Foundation will hopefully help many people follow their passions in whichever field they excel in. We have to know that Brodie Lee would be very happy that his legacy will help so many people find their own inspiration and not let their obligations at home stop them from achieving everything possible for them.
