Alexa Bliss Taking Time Off WWE Television

Alexa Bliss faced Charlotte Flair at Extreme Rules and that match did not end in her favor at all. Following loss via Natural Selection, Bliss received a beatdown from Flair and then she was launched over the announce table. After disposing of Bliss, The Queen ripped Lilly to shreds. That might have created an exit for Alexa Bliss.

According to a report from Wrestling Inc, Alexa Bliss might be out of action for a while. That Extreme Rules angle where Lilly was destroyed was meant to be “a wakeup call to remind [Bliss] that she’s still a champion at heart.”

It was further noted that a source told the outlet Alexa Bliss will be off WWE television for a few months. It was not noted exactly how long Bliss will be off television, but she is likely to miss the 2021 WWE Draft if this is true.

It is not known how long Bliss will be off of television, but I was told it would be “a few months.”

Fans were upset about this booking decision online and those in Columbus also did not appreciate seeing their hometown hero receive such a treatment. Charlotte Flair gained a ton of heat in the process and now it appears that Bliss might not be around for a while.

It is unknown why Alexa Bliss is getting time off. We have not heard any report of an injury, but she is engaged to Ryan Cabrera so the couple might appreciate the extra time at home together.
