Drew McIntyre remains one of the top Superstars in WWE and certainly has a lot of passion for the pro wrestling business. He is a former two-time WWE Champion and was the face of the company during the pandemic era as the WWE Champion. He is also never afraid to give advice to his peers whenever needed.

Drew McIntyre was released from WWE back in 2014 and made a name for himself in the independent circuit before returning to the company a few years later. He especially had a solid run in Impact Wrestling during that time.

Drew McIntyre returned to WWE back in 2017 as part of NXT and even won the NXT Championship until he was called up to the main roster in 2018.

While speaking with Inside The Ropes, Drew McIntyre talked about his relationship with Vince McMahon and revealed that he had many lightbulb moments with the WWE Chairman.

“The opportunity to have more one-on-one time with the boss, if you’re involved in more significant segments, and obviously opening RAW most weeks, having long matches, I would get the chance to be in his office a lot more so it was awesome in the sense of building a relationship which is important in any job, to have a relationship with your boss, especially WWE. And also learn.

Every time I was in there, it’s always something he would say, I’d be like, ‘Wow, of course!’ I’m trying not to sell it but a light bulb just went off,” he added. “It’s something obvious to him, but not obvious to myself. So I got to learn a lot during that period, but also start building that trust with him where he can trust me to go out on television and know my character. And if I feel something, go in in that direction.”

We will have to wait and see what is next in store for Drew McIntyre as he recently made it clear he is far from done with Roman Reigns.
