Dan Lambert Wasn’t Supposed To Become A Regular In AEW

American Top Team’s Dan Lambert knows how to cut great pro wrestling promo. His skills on the mic are exceptional which is why Tony Khan keeps inviting him back. Lambert even admitted that he wasn’t supposed to show up more than once.

‎Throwing Down w/ Renee & Miesha recently had Lambert on their Sirius/XM satellite radio show. During his time on their new show, Dan Lambert revealed that they’re essentially playing things by ear, because his AEW tenure was supposed to be a short one.

“As far as being there, I thought it was a one off when I was joking around with Tony [Khan], and I said, ‘Do you want me to bring a couple of the guys to the Miami show? Do you want me to bring Amanda [Nunes] and [Jorge] Masvidal over to the show and get them on camera? We were like, ‘Do you want to talk some sh*t?’ I’m like, ‘Yea, I’ll talk some sh*t.’ We threw it together at the last minute. The guy picked me up and dropped me on my head a little bit, so I thought it was a one off. Then he said, ‘That was pretty good.  Can you come back?’ I’m like, ‘I’ll come anytime you want me to come’, so we’re just playing it by ear, but it’s a lot of fun.”

Lambert is now representing Ethan Page and Scorpio Sky and it seems like a perfect fit. We’ll have to see how much involvement Dan Lambert has with AEW in the months to come, but it’s likely that he will continue getting that precious heat every time he picks up the microphone to drop some unwanted knowledge on fans.
