AEW Grand Slam is going down tonight and they sold a ton of tickets for the event so far. After they set up for production even more seats were opened up, but they were snatched up in a hurry.

We previously reported that over 18,000 were sold for the event. AEW opening up more seats resulted in that number growing by, at least, 2,000. Wrestle Tix notes that, including boxes with 20 seats each, AEW will break that 20,000 number with their Grand Slam event.

I’ve been told all suite tickets have been fully distributed for tonight’s show. There are 90 suites in total (that allow up to 20 guests per suite). That will likely put tonight’s number above 20,000+ people in attendance for #AEWGrandSlam.

Arthur Ashe Stadium is typically used for tennis. AEW Grand Slam will be the venue’s first pro wrestling event. Hopefully, everything works out flawlessly and Arthur Ashe Stadium will be more than happy to accept another deal with Tony Khan’s compay.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
