Former WWE Superstar Andrade El Idolo had a solid run in NXT where he even won the NXT Championship, but his main roster run in comparison left much to be desired. He was finally granted his WWE release after WWE Fastlane back on March 21st.

Since his release, fans have been wondering which pro wrestling promotion Andrade El Idolo will call home next. That question was finally answered as Andrade El Idolo made his debut in AEW back in June.

Andrade debut with Vickie Guerrero as his manager but then Vickie Guerrero was replaced by her nephew Chavo Guerrero. On last week’s episode of AEW Rampage, Andrade El Idolo attacked Chavo Guerrero and kicked him out as well.

While speaking on his Drive-Thru podcast, Jim Cornette blasted Andrade and Chavo Guerrero’s booking in AEW and made it clear that he isn’t a fan of how AEW is booking Andrade at all.

“Who knows what the role even is? Are they babyfaces? Are they heels? Chavo came out and cut a babyface promo his first night. By the second night, he was a heel. He’s arguing, and he was supposed to serve as some type of english language spokesperson for this guy (Andrade El Idolo). But wait, but before that, it was Vickie Guerrero, or wait a minute. What other Guerrero was involved in this? Didn’t they give Andrade to Vickie. I’ll tell you what, Hector’s gonna do a good job of it. Hector has always been my favorite,”

It remains to be seen whether Andrade El Idolo will get better booking soon enough, as many fans are simply disappointed with how he has been booked so far.
