WWE saw the return of Becky Lynch at SummerSlam. That surprise return was the result of changed plans changing and then changing again. Her title win was such short notice that they still don’t have side plates for her SmackDown Women’s Title. The company also just got around to locking down The Man’s new nickname.

The company filed a trademark for “Big Time Becks” on September 13th. This is according to filings found in the United States Patent and Trademark Office website.

This new nickname was registered in the same way that most pro wrestling trademarks are filed. They have the ability to use the Big Time Becks name for, ”

categories of entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibitions and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer rendered live and through broadcast media including television and radio” and more

It appears that Big Time Becks isn’t going away and odds are that name will show up on a slew of merchandise eventually.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
