The Hurt Business made a lot of impact during their terrific run in the company and raised the stocks of Bobby Lashley, MVP, Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin. However, as is the case for many factions in WWE, the faction broke up a few months ago on Monday Night RAW, in a decision that was widely criticized by fans and Superstars alike. It was ultimately Vince McMahon’s decision. Even Roman Reigns felt that the faction was broken up too early.

Despite this, Bobby Lashley previously stated that there is a chance The Hurt Business could re-form. On top of that Bobby Lashley made it clear that he hasn’t given up on The Hurt Business just yet.

While speaking to Complex, WWE Champion Big E was asked about future challenges he is likely to face as the champion. Big E stated that he really wants The Hurt Business to reform and take on The New Day.

“The first thought that comes to mind is The Hurt Business. I want to see them back. I want to see them together. Man, just the opportunity to go out there. The story is already there. The history is there, but I beat Bobby, and now Bobby needs to back up and [get] his two cast-off brothers back again. I got two brothers of my own. There are so many opportunities. But imagine The Hurt Business coming back together to do battle with The New Day. All kinds of incarnations; singles matches, tag matches. Man, there’s so much that we can do there.”
