A lot of things can go down at a WWE show and this week was no different. While most fans will remember Big E’s huge title win during the September 13th episode of RAW, others might remember the company announcing the wrong winner previously in the night.

Nikki ASH and Tamina Snuka had a match on RAW this week and it didn’t end the way they planned at all. During the match’s finish, Nikki Cross nailed a tornado DDT and then went for the pin, but Tamina kicked out just as the referee counted to three.

Tamina’s music played instead and the ring announcer announced she won the match. The announcers had to correct this error during the commercial break and they called Nikki Cross the winner instead. Obviously, this is not the way it was supposed to happen.

Nikki Cross might have been injured during her match with Tamina, and that could have warranted that on-the-fly change. It didn’t look like Cross was hurt as she was ringside for Rhea Ripley vs Natalya following that match. Hopefully, Nikki Cross is okay, but it still caused a bit of confusion.
