Tony Khan Talking To Lio Rush About AEW Return

Lio Rush showed up in AEW, but then he was injured. He needed surgery and some time to recover, but he is now cleared for an in-ring return. Rush announced his retirement, but he still has a couple of NJPW dates on his contract. Tony Khan would like to get him to come back as well.

Khan tweeted out today to say that he noticed a few tweets abut Lio Rush on his timeline. Then the AEW head honcho went on to say that AEW and Lio Rush have spoken about the former Cruiserweight Champion’s return to the company.

I see a lot of tweets talking about Lio Rush today. Coincidentally, I’ve been talking to @TheLionelGreen a lot recently about returning to @AEW, and it feels like something that could happen in the near future.

We will have to see if Lio Rush makes his way back to AEW. He could have some incredible matches in the company, especially with the new additions that All Elite Wrestling recently acquired.
