Ric Flair requested his release from WWE and it was granted without any 90-day non-compete clause attached. The Nature Boy already showed up at TripleMania, but he hasn’t been in AEW yet. It seems that the stage is now set for his arrival. This article is one big spoiler, so be warned.

Following Andrade’s win over Pac this week on Rampage, he turned on Chavo Guerrero Jr. A melee brawl broke out after that, and it seems that was needed to open the door for Ric Flair’s debut.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted the events on Rampage and how it appears that Ric Flair’s arrival is right around the corner.

“He got rid of Chavo, and since he’s only been there for a couple of weeks, that makes me feel that if they’re gonna replace him they’re gonna replace him with The Nature Boy, which I’m sure, if [Andrade] has Flair in his corner and he’s motivated to wrestle then he’s gonna be a big freakin’ star.”

Andrade El Idolo and Charlotte Flair are still a couple and Ric Flair loves him. Flair went to TripleMania on his own dime to accompany Andrade to the ring. This could be a very interesting time for AEW, because they already brought in massive names like CM Punk, Bryan Danielson, and Adam Cole in recent memory.
