Ric Flair requested his WWE release after giving Vince McMahon piece of his mind about how the company is being booked. That release request was granted and now The Nature Boy is a free agent. He showed up alongside Andrade El Idolo at TripleMania and that was a big surprise. He also did it on the house.

Flair reportedly did that TripleMania appearance free of charge according to Wrestling Inc. The Nature Boy lived up to his name and he was a jet flying son of a gun at his own expense.

Wrestling Inc. has learned that Flair did the appearance at no charge. Flair apparently chartered a private jet to make the show, at his own expense.

Ric Flair’s appearance didn’t help Andrade win the match. In fact, that was actually AEW’s doing, because Andrade was supposed to pull down the gold until Tony Khan’s company nixed the idea.

We’ll have to see where Ric Flair shows up next, but AAA, AEW, or any other pro wrestling company getting the Nature Boy for free isn’t like going to happen very often.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
