Kenny Omega topped the PWI 500 list, and the pro wrestling world is now debating about how valid that list is. Omega had a great year, but he isn’t immune to losing. Will Ospreay knows that well and he recently reminded everyone that he has wins over The Cleaner.
Will Ospreay tweeted out to say, “I’d beat up number 1 any day of the week and twice on Wednesdays…..just saying.” That didn’t set well with Kenny Omega. The AEW World Champion responded to Ospreay by throwing some serious shade at him and NJPW in the process.
Your promotion has been so ice cold since I left that not even Meltzer can convince his followers that you were part of any BITW conversation.
It hurts me, bruv. One of you dorks should have been the guy. Turned out a bigger dog was my only competition.
Fans will continue their ongoing debate about who is best in the world. Obviously, the PWI 500 list adds a lot to that conversation. A lot of fans were upset that Roman Reigns didn’t claim the top spot on the list, but you won’t hear many people claiming that spot belongs to Will Ospreay right now.
