We have good news to report when it comes to former TNA announcer Don West. He announced in June that he was diagnosed with cancer, but that issue is now behind him as he has much better news to report.

West got on Twitter this evening to reveal that he is 13 chemotherapy treatments in and his cancer is now in remission. He thanked everyone for their kind words and encouragement during this time. Now he can carry on with a clean bill of health.

I want to give everyone an update After 8 weeks of chemotherapy and 13 treatments of radiation my cancer is now in remission Thank you for everyone’s prayers because they truly worked I look forward to getting back on the radio doing what I love

This is great news for Don West as a lot of fans were very worried about him. He is a radio show host for NewsRadio 560 KPQ in Washington now, and hopefully he can get back on the air very soon.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
